Based on the eye test I can say Gavrikov was superior to Nuutivaara and they signed at about the same amount, so good signing by Kekaleinen, now on to the last big hold out. I just hope this doesn't turn into Johansson 2.0.

Well Johansson 1.0 turned out pretty good (Seth Jones)!

Maybe they spent way too much time deciding on their retro jersey to celebrate 20 years of failure and embarrassment.

It's no contest, the CBJ is the worst franchise in the NHL since its inception, even bottom dwellers as Arizona, Minnie, the Devils, and the Oil look good next to us.

Sign PLD and get some more offense in her now!

Yes I do, I also remember watching the first game in franchise history against the Blackhawks when they were terrible. The CBJ put three up in the first 10 minutes of the game, and if I remember right it was 4-3 Chicago by the end of the 1st. It ended 6-3 and things went downhill from there.

I try to be a positive person, and I normally am, its great to have faith in God. But after almost 20 years of misery with nothing to show for it but a red retro jersey just rubs me the wrong way. Is the PLD signing going to turn into another debacle that makes it 100% sure he leaves as a UFA when this contract is signed?

We need offense that scores in the playoffs, not overpriced souvenir jerseys.

Alex,

Maybe we ought to do a top ten or top twenty player list of all time CBJ players. We can split the list into two groups: Say pre-Sergei Fedorov and post Sergei Fedorov.

We could also do pre and post Adam Foote, but the traitor should never be allowed in Columbus again. If he shows up arrest him and make him watch Steve Mason videos.
